uh huh hush that fuss

Cut out your condiments. Use spices! Are you complaining because you don't have spices? Hush up. They have them even at the dollar store... so you have no excuse :)

My favorite spice that I put on EVERYTHING!!!! is McCormick's "Perfect Pinch - Garlic & Herb - Salt Free - NO MSG" ...they have it like well... basically every grocery store. Makes EVERYTHING 10 hundred times better!

Random tips

-Don't wear baggy clothes.. even if you're in relaxing clothes... pick spandex type pants that are clingy rather than baggy clothes-your less likely to veg out.

-Make a plate, box up leftovers... put them AWAY! Go eat, and don't rush... you're less likely to go back and overeat if you have to go back into the fridge and get more food.

-I say don't eat meat at all of course... but if you do decide to eat meat... Dr. Oz I heard say... eat the 4 legged animals no more than once a week. But I'd like to take it another step... cut out beef entirely and replace fresh fish!

-In the morning, the night before, whatever... pack a raw snack to have for a snack during the day... ex: almonds(what I usually have with me because it doesn't matter the temperature), carrots, cherry tomatoes and cucumbers, etc.... It is important to have these snacks already ready and on hand, so when you do just all of a sudden feel as if you are starving... you won't just grab some sort of unhealthy snack.

-Go through your cabinets and get rid of the junk! And stop buying the junk. Go grocery shopping in a tighter fitted outfit... you'll think about how you look in it whenever you are making your selections ;)

-Drink water, all day, if you feel hungry, get your water and drink some... still hungry? Go eat. I read that your body sends signals to your brain that says you are hungry whenever you are dehydrated and really are just needing water.

-SNACK, SNACK, SNACK... don't go too long without eating. You have class? You have work? Ya, ya, ya EVERYONE does... welcome to life baby :) prepack something, a little bag of fruit, nuts, whatever and have it with you so you don't have to crave food and RUN for the snack machine or whatever other junk is readily available.

-OKAY I AM GOING TO SHUT UP NOW AND DO WHAT I SAID I WAS GOING TO DO, IN THE PREVIOUS POST :)

Justa gabbin' away

Ok, so I start summer school tomorrow. Makes me nauseous just thinking about it, to be quite honest... but I know I need to go and get it over with!

So, a lot of people have been asking me lately what I've been doing... what I've been eating/working out and what not...

Okay, so... I've been REALLY lazy. If you know me... you know that I love to work out, go to the gym, go running, yadda yadda yadda... well I've been just swamped... with what... I don't know... I guess just life! But I guess it's better to have LOTS going on then a whole lot of NOTHING... right?!?! If not, humor me and just agree...

Okay, just some little hints of what I do everyday...
-Start every morning with coffee and I do NOT skip breakfast... eat even if you aren't hungry. For a while I was eating a whole wheat bagel every AM, but now my quick, running out the door meal is... a banana or maybe 2 depending on the size and what my day looks like... if I'm going to be able to have a snack in like 2 hours or not... with almond butter. You are probably thinking... "I thought she said this was like the grab and go breakfast?" UM yes, you're correct. I did in fact say that ;) Grab banana, knife, almond butter container and... WALK OUT THE DOOR :) hehe! I eat it in the car or when I get to work or whatever suits my morning.

SAY NO TO SALT! Fletcher told me that the celtic salt is good, they have it at Lovey's in the Landfall shopping center. BTW Lovey's is amazing. They have a little cafe in there and you can be as picky as you want. Kid friendly, yes-that does in fact mean that they have a kids meal. Look them up ;)

I'll post pics of all my food in a little bit. Gotta get some things done :)

Take one step at a time! Don't rush or you'll overwhelm yourself. Google info! There's SO much good food out there, you just have to care about your health enough to find out. It's NOT hard. It's NOT time consuming. It IS rewarding and it IS worth it.

I don't want to hear any excuses people. Pre-make your meals! There is this wonderful invention called the uh..... FREEZER!

Love u 2 pieces. <3

Some people to look up with great info...
Charles Poliquin (he has a facebook account and posts awesome info!) and also Dr. Oz (DVR his show!!)

Gluten Free now too?!!?!?

Yes, I have been SLACKIN' but I just wanted to update you!

I'm now GLUTEN FREE :) I didn't think my diet could make me feel any better than I was already feeling but WOW... I am so not joking. The whole gluten free thing has really changed my life.

I owe all the credit to Fletcher, because I really would have never even thought of trying it. Anyways, I'll get on here and GAB more later but I need my rest. It was a long day, and so glad to see this Monday, leave!
